I don't listen to rap music but I remember hearing Eminem on the radio when I was a teenager and I actually kinda liked it.

Actually... now that I'm thinking of it I might have his first CD in my house somewhere from back then.

I personally don't care about someone who tries to snatch the apex of fame and notoriety by picking a beef with one of the greatest lyricists of all time. That's petty...which is why in "Killshot", Eminem has a line that says "Let's see who can out petty who", because doing a song and calling it "Rap Devil", after Eminem did Rap God years prior, is kind of lame.

Just pick any of Eminem's songs, essentially most of them, and listen to them really carefully. You just might catch some double entredres or play on words that you never noticed for years and years, but the song still makes sense and has a good flow.

His brain is just fully wired to write insanely clever lyrics that still tell a story without going dr seuessey or mumble rap or autotuners, and that, I can respect. does he use pitch correction? yes. Who doesn't? I can't think of any

So many people think Kanye is greater, but need I remind people of the poopity scoop thing, and how he called himself a lyrical genius. C'mon

I like writing songs but I think too many artists go for quantity over quality. Eminem still churns out pretty good songs, whilst pushing 50, or maybe he's already 50. He can freestyle, go acapella, and the best I can do is a lucky freestyle if I am really in an angry mood, or I can spend months writing a single verse to a single song.

The thing with Eminem is that he dosent write much in the way of song that will get people moving. That has never been his thing.

I don’t think he will ever sell another album like some of those that are considered his best.

But that’s more about the times changing than him going down in the way most would say.
