If you only play indie games ,yeah they are cool for that, they overall dont require too much power, so ...smooth gameplay...yeah they are cool for that but most indies are just bad and spending 500 euro for that... Not cool
Yeah, cool you can emulate switch or older Nintendo consoles but sometimes stutters and most importantly you cant play online with the ppl who have a switch
Also will anyone actually dedicate a lot of their time to play older Nintendo games? I pretty much highly doubt it
Not even for games that are alredy easy to run and require lot of FPS is useful (csgo, valorant...) On my laptop I get more FPS lmao
Basically if you alredy have a decent pc ,having a deck is just pointless, add to that if you arent a person who doesnt rly move a lot which is nowadays common after covid and you have another reason to not buy it
But hey, you can use your keyboard and mouse on it, thats honestly the only positive here but an important one
And also you can install Linux on your normal pc... I honestly had lot of trouble with Linux distros and Windows just worked for me
Considering how games requirements keep going up, how most ppl dont even play indie games, the lack of mobility of most individuals and that having a normal pc is just a better and more viable option... Highly doubt it
Maybe some more individuals will buy it ,but it will exactly the same as Steam controller
Not saying deck and Steam controller are bad but it just doesnt satisfy the necesity of most individuals

Haha indies are the future. And the steam deck is capable to play every game right now so go back playing fortnite please
That’s more of a priority than a Steam Deck, at the current moment.
Def Linux is better than Windows but the Steam Deck has a host of problems.
Is it good for a budget PC/gaming device sure, but any built rig with real part investment would be better.
