Buying games
If you have the original copy of the games from another platform, will you buy the same games on steam?

Nope. In fact Steam's my absolute last option and if I'm going to double dip I'll do so for a DRM-free version, not the other way around.

Yes. But you shoulda bought it from Steam in the first place. We're talking about $5-10 differentials.

Yes.

Latest one being Judgment series, and it's insane to me how much I enjoyed it more on PC compared to PS4. Not only does it run a lot better, but it's also bundled with all DLCs.
Yep. I do it all the time.

The only thing that would convince me is convenience. So it needs to have benefits other than just buying it on Steam.

Access to the Steam workshop for easy modding is a good example of convenience.

Well, I've considered it.

I got one for free, if that counts.

Only if it is console and outdated version.

The games that require secdvr, some of them work and some don't.

Depends on your support for the same game.
I think hardcore fans would say "why a need to ask? just buy already". :erune:

Sometimes.

I prefer drm free copies.

But I do have bought some games on steam I own on cdrom.
mostly because getting those cdrom versions to run on modern pc is a hassle and if steam version is only 2 or 3 euro.. not having to hassle is worth it.
only if play it so much that putting in dvd all the time of the physical whne you want to play is more trouble than getting it on sale for 5

No, why would I do that?

If it's an obsolete platform, yes...
