Salman Rushdie Stabbed

Salman Rushdie is an Indian author who wrote a book in the 90's called "The Satanic Verses".

This book featured fictionalised depictions of the islamic prophet muhammad & resulted in a "Fatwa" (islamic law death sentence) being issued by the Ayatollah of Iran.

33 years later, someone has again attempted to carry out that sentence.

No but it is critical and given his age, then it might end up being a sad event.

He was put on a ventilator after the attack, and apparently he's now off of it.
