Reddit is Trash

[TRUCK]

Just like to say that Reddit is trash. It is impossible to use the website with a new account. I'm not even sure why they still allow people to create new accounts. Every single group has a requirement that I can't post until I get X number of reputation points, and I can't get reputation points until I post, so the website is fundamentally flawed.

They expect me to randomly comment on 100+ posts before I'm allowed to ask a question, which is the entire reason I decided to create an account there. So sure, I'll spam 100 different posts with "asdhjioasjildjas" just so I can create a post of my own.

Moderators keep giving me some b/s story about bots and spam, and tell me to comment and gain at least 250 reputation points before I can post.

I don't care about bots, or spam. I am not a bot, and should not be punished just because other people are. Websites really need to figure out a way to handle this stuff, because randomly blocking people from participating just because they have an issue with bots that they are unable to resolve isn't reasonable.

there are places on reddit for serious discussion about politics that deal with differing opinions.

I have no doubt, I really do believe there are some reasonable political communities on the site. But with the stuff I'm seeing on the home page, they're certainly not encouraging that environment.

it's a business too. that's perhaps why it's a weird site. i don't have a Reddit account personally but i think ppl can send you money with awards and stuff.

That's the thing about grimoires, the good ones were written in times when words had to actually be magical to cause any harm to anyone. Nowsadays the only harm is peoples lust for pain.
