Reddit is Trash
Just like to say that Reddit is trash. It is impossible to use the website with a new account. I'm not even sure why they still allow people to create new accounts. Every single group has a requirement that I can't post until I get X number of reputation points, and I can't get reputation points until I post, so the website is fundamentally flawed.

They expect me to randomly comment on 100+ posts before I'm allowed to ask a question, which is the entire reason I decided to create an account there. So sure, I'll spam 100 different posts with "asdhjioasjildjas" just so I can create a post of my own.

Moderators keep giving me some b/s story about bots and spam, and tell me to comment and gain at least 250 reputation points before I can post.

I don't care about bots, or spam. I am not a bot, and should not be punished just because other people are. Websites really need to figure out a way to handle this stuff, because randomly blocking people from participating just because they have an issue with bots that they are unable to resolve isn't reasonable.

Literally all social media is trash, friend.

But I do have a few reddits bookmarked and read regularly, but there's no way in hell I'm ever registering and joining in.

Well they've shown themselves to be child molesters, so they can all burn.

At least I can post here without being auto moderated by non-working spam bots. I was hoping to use Reddit to help (and get help) with programming topics. They have a group with 3+ million members /learnprogramming. But I can't even participate, so... screw it.

i think ppl call them "predditors". but what you say is true. exposing child predators will get you banned.

Reddit is poisoned wine. The front page of the site is nothing but degeneracy, showing the absolute worst humans can become. If it's not slamming religious people for their discipline and restrain, then it's ill-advised advice or one-sided politics.

If the only complaint you've got is the account limitations, something's wrong. There's a hell of a lot more than just that.

OT is easy to access, but OT is limited intelligence. OT is troll posts, bad takes, and edge lording. Reddit is better opinions, better writing and smarter comments. Reddit, because of it's vastness, has more of everything, bad and good, but OT is distilled trolling.

Steam game forums are better.
Mainstream subreddits, the ones you're forced to follow when you make an account there, is all trash.
