Whats a movie you saw as a kid that gave you a phobia?

For me, I devloped megalohydrothalassaphobia (long word that is the fear of big sea creatures), after watching that scene in Star Wars Episode 1 with all the sea monsters. It was pretty terrifying and that trauma probably gave me this phobia.

Why would you get a phobia by watching a film as a kid? I watched many horror films as a kid and now horror can't do ♥♥♥♥ to me and is boring.

Final Destination is a good one.
It makes you start looking at every little thing and imagine the multiple gorey deaths that item could give you.

this movie is just gory but not over the top and the atmosphere is normal. and i hate that :(

I think when i was really young i watched John Carpenter's Prince of Darkness. The fx used and just creepy demonic possession stages were just insane. I remember being taken to a child psychologist afterwards

Zombie movies + seeing my mom play one of the Resident Evil games made me really scared of zombies as a kid, still kinda scared of them even now lol
