I would say obligatory for celebs.
You have to globetrot to keep up your image. If you don't say the PC things you ain't getting invited to Cannes every year. How do you get to Cannes? On a private jet.
On only does he lecture everyone on environmental issues, but other political issues as well.
I do ride the public bus with all the not rights of society
me = happily ignant of media butterflies
Ignorant is a bless right? I think we keep using fossil fuel for long time majority don't care they want there big cars or luxery products more then safe nature and beautiful animals that live on this still beautiful planet. Majority think i live short life so i'll take(GRAB) whatever i can so i make it great for my self no matter what.
I'm btw since 1979 VEGAN, i also start refusing plasticbags in shops since 1985(not that it made much difference we still have huge plastic problem. i also use products as long as i can like my cellphone at least 6-8 years(modern smartphones these days) i have no car i quit in 2000 driving cars because of pollution. Did it help maybe not but i also have no problem doing it. I never lecture people my believes or idealistic views i just discuss leave it up to other what he want with this info is up to him/her.
I mange to open some people there eyes understanding why i'm doing this even some todays youth:)
I don't envy youth that will inhabbit this earth in next decades.
Again we will see in next 30-40 years my bet is 30% change we manage to avoid disaster..maybe?
Literally nobody wants to make sacrifices to get this under control.
She's a hypocrite in general.
I believe your correct, this is what happen to venus all them millennials ago. Even back then, these politicians and celebrities promised the working man and their families a new life on earth if they build thousands of spaceships to travel there. Sadly, for the working man, the leaders and celebrities stabbed them in the back and left the planet aboard these ships, leaving the working man behind. Nothing changes
To be fair, you can't expect people just to stop what their enjoy doing (rich or poor). It has to a slow and gradual progress over time (like decades). A good start for most of us is recycling and walking to the shop instead of driving that half a mile to buy milk. But you can't expect someone who works 20 miles away to all of a sudden stop driving to and from work and start catching the bus, this is unrealistic.
I do my bit, I recycle, I catch the bus, i use less water etc but I won't be dictated too by higher up's who go against what their preach.
