How do I play escape from tarkov

I know the game is not on steam but I don't have an account on any other forums

How do I play this game im completely new and I don't understand what to do or how to find extraction points

Use the forums on the site or watch YouTube videos. If you created a Escape from tarkov account you already have a forums account for the game.

You should start by doing the tasks. Check the traders in your hideout and you should be able to get a task for killing 5 scavs on Customs and another for getting Salwas.

Beyond that, just go into raids, try and get some kills, loot what you can and try and get out alive. you can use the stuff found in raids to begin upgrading your hideout as well, but you should lookup everything you'll want to save for future tasks.

As for maps, just Google to find a map for whatever raid your going in, make sure it's up to date as some maps have changed.

If you want more in depth help you should check out Pestily or someone similar, theres tons of content on Youtube that can help, the game can be very unforgiving at first.
