I'm supposed to be on 100Mbit/20Mbit but my internet hasn't been that good since a faulty network cable, i hope it hasn't done anything bad to my router.

Only way to tell is either do a speed test or get a new router.

My ISP is amazing. I live in the middle of nowhere, so we have these microwave line-of-sight things. A little white dish pointed at a mountain. They don't oversell the service! They advertise 30 Mbps, and I get 30 Mbps. They actually refuse further signups until they upgrade and expand capacity to allow for more.
