Warner bros cancels batgirl film and lost 70 million dollars

Yep a batgirl movie was suppose to come out this year but it got canceled because of Warner bros being bought out by discovery this isn’t the only film to be canceled since Wondertwins was also canceled because of Discovery’s deal it’s ashamed since the film was gonna have Firefly and Nightwing on screen for the first time in the DC movie universe and was gonna be on HBO max. :(

Heh, I don’t mind sexy but please, for the love of god, do make it sexy when it makes sense. Don’t go out of your way to oversexualize a character either. When you reach a certain threshold, you just hurt the movie either way.

Both sides have good arguments. But, nobody agrees on where that line needs to be drawn and that kind of cause a lot of problems.

(One example: if the character is know to favor a certain type of clothing. It would be extremely weird if JUST for that movie. She friggin’ fight in a bikini. Ok as somekind of alternate universe sheninegans maybe but as something supposed to fit with what is mostly known grounds it’s not gonna be great.

But, hey, if they take the opportunity and the original outfit allows it. Go wild!

Oh, I just didn’t find another thread so far which I felt compelled to participate in. So I figured I could just chill around and just have a few exchanges with people that have (hopefully) an understanding that differences in opinions does not always require opposition. I don’t care for a fight. None of us gets anything tangible out of it. :)
