Let's say you were given unlimited resources to enact ultimate judgement towards someone who's wronged you. Which would you choose? :VSnake:

Nah, it's just Science:
https://www.bbvaopenmind.com/en/science/physics/discover-the-hidden-order-in-chaos/

Everything looks like chaos, until you discover it's not.

The deterioration of order into chaos is, or can be, predictable. Opposites are not the same simply because the laws of nature follow the laws of nature. We may be coming at this from two perspectives where both are true, we just misunderstood each other. Unless, of course, you are truly claiming that chaos is actually order. Then that is false.

Order is seen as chaos, unless you can see how everything is connected in a web of cause and effect. That's the point. Where some see only chaos, some can find and notice order.

The benefits of revenge are actually extremely few.

It could even shorten your lifespan by a year or two... If it's some kind of cowboy style revenge.

A year or two? Oh that's fine, worth it.

Really depends on how they handle themselves after the fact.

If it's one thing I learned from The Count of Monte Cristo, it's that revenge is pointless.

Dantes had become one of the wealthiest men in the world, and could have just lived a fine life, even doing good deeds as he was wont to do.

Instead, he blew a sizeable chunk of his wealth on a 10 year revenge plan, with a lot of innocents caught in the crossfire.
And nearly cost his adopted son the woman he loved.

Worse, as the movie pointed out, if Dantes wanted revenge that badly, he could have just had the three characters quietly assassinated.

Nope. That's called perspective, not reality.

Exactly, from your perspective you might not understand certain tricks of magic, but some people do, they know how they work.

:tobdog:

This must be really hard to understand for you, so let me put it this way:
Cause and effect are everywhere, just because we can't see and identify the causes of certain events that doesn't mean they don't exist.

All I ever see is chaos...

Which is weird, because here I am just trying to bring order and gamer justice, for the good of all. But these damned people just can't accept what is best for them, so they must be destroyed... DEEEESTROYYYYYY

I wish you good luck, you'll definitely need it to bring order to Steam forums! :steamhappy:

if they are truly sorry forgiveness
if they are fake sorry punishment, then another chance to be truly sorry

If I had the choice, and the power to do so, I'd deport them to a Pyongyang prison to survive for 8 years, and they'd come back a changed and respectful individual. I wouldn't call that revenge though, it's more a favour.
Now revenge, revenge is a dish that tastes best when it is cold.

Definitely forgiveness, because forgiveness is more about you than them, besides, revenge is in the lower feeling State (where you can have rage, become angry, which leads to other lower States, which you then start to feel like crap). W forgiveness, you tend to have more love for yourself, and such. Remember, it's about you, not them, because we bring ourselves everywhere we go, and I know it's easier said than done, but those bad memories don't serve you in the slightest, so forgive yourself for what happened (and them), and start on your Path of Healing.
