She- Hulk is stronger than Hulk
And you know the reason why that’s the case.

Dude REALLY outed himself in other threads, complete yikes.
He did from the very beginning, that first vegan thread, he wouldn't stop arguing, something wasn't right.
Likely spends most of his day in MRA areas that spend half the day posting violent fantasies against women, and power fantasies of "I just WISH someone would try something, I'd totally shoot them."

Kinda gave off the vibe, c'est la vie.

I'm curious the direction they're going to go with She-Hulk however, it feels like they might be choosing to go the "wacky superhero put into unwanted hero positions" route as a means to force her to be a hero.

I like that kind of directions but the problem with these films is that they try too hard to push an agenda instead of trying to be compelling or funny.

Tatiana herself mentioned in an interview that She-Hulk is a reluctant superhero. The comics reflect this too as Jenn Walter expresses the burden of being She-Hulk because she always has to do the legal thing or try to at least. In one story, she willingly stays in jail even though she could easily break out by smashing the walls.

It's a really delicate and interesting balance between everyday life and superhero-dom that is explored by few marvel films. I think Logan (the wolverine movie) was the only one that attempted to show the complexity of reality (the mundane) and superhero reality.

So basically if Hulk had Superman's morals/restraint.

yah, but it's not boring like Superman because Superman is invincible while Jen Walter can be disbarred (lose her legal license). Jen Walters deals with some real consequences that Superman doesn't have to.

I loved it when she compared her experiences with cat-calling to hulk's attempted suicide / loss of his friends.

She's the real victim, but her strength keeps her going.

Good thing we have laywers like her. A highly respected field of work, mind you.
omg, wizard is going to cry the longest river right here in the She Hulk thread...

stupid river too as Hulk would never allow Banner to suicide
You post more words than anyone else in these threads by a pretty wide gap

Still haven't seen you say anything

So essentially she's a more humanised hero with struggles peoples in real life have and consequences.

pretty much. in the comics, she gets fired from her law firm and has to start her own legal practice. she ends up looking for office space and dealing with landlords than are prejudiced against superheroes. it's really a rare and interesting balance of tone and story.

I sure do hope she's like this in the film because films these days tend to get everything wrong about characters like these.

That's the sort of legal defense she-hulk might use in the show .

Truly awe inspiring. Her humanity and femininity really shine strongest *after* she became a monster.

Powerful stuff.

you know, film and text are different mediums. i saw that you mentioned that you didn't read books in another thread because they're boring, and like, that's one of the main reasons why superhero comics and superhero films are so different. on screen, every scene needs to draw you in, but in text, the reader is doing a lot of the work.

but from what ive seen in the trailers, i dont have Disney+ :( , it looks pretty fun.

Yeah stuff can not translate from a medium to another, you could say the same thing about Harry Potter (my dad keep telling me how so much stuff is wrong or missing when he do compare the books to the films). But maybe it's because the medium conversion just isn't good enough to describe the intricacies of a 2 k pages book or a compilation of comics, maybe they just should have made an entire TV show for these and not just 2 hours and 30 minute movies.

woke wankers ruin everything they touch.

star trek
doctor who
star wars
and many more series ruined by wokers.

I want a no woking zone!
Makes me think if you made movies like in the 80 but more extreem.. like actually saying and doing what even than was over the edge plus smacking a token woker every scene in the face with a line like shut up you fool!
it would be a massive hit..
if go woke = go broke..
the opposite should be true also;)
