Warning labels on products that should already be very obvious
Have we human really reached a level of stupidity and incompetence that we need warning labels on even the most basic of products. I saw a warning label on a chainsaw that said.. well for it.. Do not hold blade side when in use.... REALLY, we need to be warned ? some other dumb warning labels that should be obvious below...

Peanuts - Pack my contain peanuts
Eggs - This product may contant eggs
Iron - Do not iron clothes on body
Knife - Knife may cut

others like for fire places... Do not touch fire to avoid risk of being burned (no crap) and cleaning products e.g bleach, Do not drink fluid contained in bottle.

Are we human really this dumb that we need warning labels about not touching fire ? this question is for real. But deep down I know humans are dumb:steamsad: I have also made topics on people eating tide pods etc

Mirrors - Warning! Objects in mirror are not actually in mirror! Look out!
It's for legal reasons. If they say it people can't sue and say "there was no mention on the label!" So it's stupid but in another way.
Which is why coffee cups at fast food restaurants tend to have warnings about it being hot...

This really destroyed the world. People used to take advantage and sue culture became a thing, and a generation later devolved into people actually being hurt or offended by every little possible thing.
I always think back to the billboard for a hotdog with the disclaimer "not actual size".

I seen warning like this for all kinds of food. Like im dumb enough to believe a hotdog selling for £2.00 is 2 metres long.

It is absolutely a bad thing especially when companies saw it was cheaper just to pay them off than get all the "controversy". At this point I'm pretty damn sure people do it on purpose to pour hot coffee on themselves for that sweet sueing money. If i were CEO I'd give them another coffee and tell them fudge off.

That's the crazy thing of it! They could just say, have a free coffee for your troubles. And that would be the end of it. But people have so instilled fear that it's now a natural response for a company to kowtow.
The first time I saw this picture, I practically choked from laughter at the thought of them needing to tell people not to do that.

Exactly and it drives me insane to watch these things happen, just do like i said. One or two high profile "no, here's a second coffee now leave" cases would probably end this terrible phenomenon.
I have some aspirin which says "for oral use only".
You know they put it there because some moron stuck aspirin up their butt.

I really suspect this is what gave birth to the "safe space" mentality that's so prevalent these days. A simple miscommunication between ♥♥♥ men and their next of kin leading to the subtle destruction of society.

Well they say you get the full effect without that pesky liver filtering it.

I'd argue it's a mix of various factors. There's how parents treat their kids (like little kings and queens), how there's always something dangerous around the corner for little Timmy etc. But this is possibly one of those factors as well.

Oh yeah, I forgot that that was a thing too. My parents were fine with those kinda risks I guess xD
