Well the admin wasn't my friend, the admin was an admin and this was the place me and friends congregated at. So my ability to maintain friendship was at risk. Even if it wasn't, what's funny about an admin telling me that I'm incapable of understanding and have no right to do anything but say what I'm told to say because I'm a wrongskin? What's the funny here? These same people said the same about pronouns, if you're wondering.
If it's just the admin, then it sounds more like they did you a favour, now that you no longer have to put up with them. Are you talking about a discord server or something? Because you can always, you know...make your own, moderate it as you see fit. If it's a private space like that, unfortunately, whether or not you agree with it, people ARE allowed to moderate and ban as they see fit, even if in reality it's over something you consider really ridiculous.
Again, what's funny about being told I am a wrongskin and thus I have no right to speak of an issue, anything I do say is hate speech, and that I will be isolated from my friends if I don't say what the rightskins tell me to say. Maybe it's important in my life maybe not, it's not for you to decide, but you laughed your ass off at the concept. Why? what's funny about that?
First of all, it's an absurd thing for someone to say to another person, so if that person said that to me, I would probably just laugh it off, and leave on my own if they didn't ban me. That isn't worth my time. Of course, I am not you, and I am aware everyone reacts to things differently.
But I didn't laugh at that to begin with, because you never said they said all those things in your initial post, you only said that you were threatened with being banned. And no offense, but without any of that context, whining about being threatened with a ban like that is pretty funny in a sad kind of way.
doctors don't test for each and every possible thing, they usually just look at the genitals because that's what seems to work in most cases
in this sense, yes, you are quite literally assigned a sex at birth
no, not really
i don't think that "the world is evil", that there's some entity controlling everything; on the contrary, these problems are not the fault of any specific person, but rather the result of countless generations of social development not caused by any individual but constantly evolving from the interactions of every person on earth
and, no, people do give a ♥♥♥♥ about you and what you do; especially old conservatives who think that the world should be one way because their holy book said so, even at the expense of all the individuals who don't fit into their worldview, such as lgbt people
I'm pretty sure Western governments and world powers enshrine LGBTQIA rights and ensure their protection (to the best of their ability without trampling on the freedoms of everyone..)
and that many countries nowadays don't have a problem with LGBTQIA stuff?
This is a common & well-known strawman against homosexuality and transgenders, and now teachers too, who get accused of it regardless of whether they're doing it or not, whether they coach male cheerleaders or simply teach a Calculus class.
It does actually happen sometimes but not "all the time in every school" like many dogmatic people making baseless claims uhhh.... claim, more specifically, falsely claim.
I just like to have it on record. You know, it's almost like some people are aware what they're saying is wrong...so they don't want to outright say it...hmm...
Also, people this is about pronouns, the English language, one's sexuality and children have nothing to do with any of the subject. And no, children do not have the development to make that call. We can't even read basic mental disabilities until 5-6 years old, let alone complex as complex as clinic dysphoria or abuse-caused dysphoria. It is a VERY bad idea to bring these up
Sir we tie ourselves deeply to noblese oblogie and the malicious slandering of the upper class. My identity is not defined by a state of self and instead the royal "we" I am to be called Sir/your eminence and n understand we struggle to remember our status as part of the greater whole when we call ourselves the improper pronoun of I.
We accept and understand your lack of knowledge how we identity. But you said you were accept any title we and others gave ourselves. So will you regard our identity with empathy and compassion?
