One bic lighters use butane. And 2 zippo's use lighter fluid which it's main ingredient which makes it flammable is naphtha. So no you can't use bic lighters to fill up a zippo. And zippo's always come empty you have to fill them up yourself with zippo lighter fluid. Butane is a gas like propane where when it hits the air it turns back in to a gas. When butane just like propane is stored under pressure it turns into a liquid form. That is why you can't use bic lighters to fill up your zippo. I have a lot of zippo's.
