Games about taming/training/breeding creatures/monsters/etc?

Hi.
I'm looking for a game which mechanics are based on taming/training breeding monsters and battling with theme, but where genetics have an impact on statd, some sort of pokemon-like game, but free (or not) for PC or Android.
I currently tried a lot of games like Dragon City and stuff but a lot of those games feel the same, the same mechanics. It feels like you see one of those games and you already saw the others.

I'd really like a game where I am some sort of trainer or tamer where I get to get train and breed different cratures, but where same species of creatures are different between themselves, like 2 same cratures from a same species having different characteristics or stats.

So, a game with more depth to the training and breeding and then having battles.
I really can't find anything with that depth of gameplay, and all games look very simple and very alike to each other (already tried a few).

Could you recommend or link some games of this kind for Android or even on Steam?

Slime Rancher may come into this but nope. Noty many of thsoe games because they would invariably be compared to pokemon and that's never going to be in the developers favour. Too different from pokemon and no one will buy it.. to similar to pokemon and nintendo sues.

I don't get it. Yet there are too many games on Android that almost are clones to each other and only vary in art-style and interface and creatures, the other mechanics are identical and they don't sue other comapnies for makind too similar games.
(Not saying they are bad games. They are good but to simplistic in some things for me)

If you have a PC that can handle the amount of space Ark: Survival Evolved has (over 100gbs) I would highly recommend playing it. Though the game is going through quite the changes, find an unofficial pve server that allows you to tame prehistoric dinosaurs and other animals. Each dino/animal has different stats. There is breeding to the point of getting stat and color mutations (some pretty far out there neon colors I might add all by random). And on the PvE servers, you will be safe in regards to pvp to do as needed and breed to the server tribe limit and when you are ready I'm sure there will be players on the server that would be more than happy to "Declare Tribe War" with. I've done it before, just set up perimeters on what I was looking for fight wise and it was all gravy!

i do stress though, if you choose to try this game, to save you time and effort, look for an unofficial server with raised taming and breeding rates. Vanilla rates take wayyyyy too long for my taste...i.e. Taming a decent leveled mammoth on vanilla will take 4-6 IRL hours. and breeding takes twice as long just for gestation and getting it to the point of being safe to walk away/sleep yourself.
