Well, I don't care what they call it. RD3, RDR2, Legends of the West, it's all the same to me.

Awesome. I just wish it wasn't a short teaser trailer. Oh well. I look forward to the coming tide of feature trailers.

Yeah, I remember playing the first red dead redemption...good times lol
Yeah I'll have to upgrade my xbox 360 for that! Looks amazing.
Red Dead Revolver was the first one, Red Dead Redemption was the second, now Red Dead Redemption 2 is the third.

So it's RDR2 or Red Dead 3... Both are correct.

I know
Is Red Dead Revolver on PC? I know you'll be able to play Red Dead Redemption 1 on PC soon. Do you need to know Read Dead Revolver to get the most out of Read Dead Redemption?

None of the Red Dead games are on PC. Revolver's and Redemption's stories have nothing to do with each other, too.

OK that's good to know, but Red Dead Redemption 1 is soon going to be available on PC through the new Playstation Now streaming service.

Normally streamed games are crappy ports so I wouldn't get your hopes up.

From what I've experienced so far in my free week trial is that games are pretty much the same as on ps3 though the stream isn't quite as sharp and you can notice some signs of compression and artifacts, but I guess a lot of it depends on where you are located.

Well if you already have a PS3 it would probably be easier to just play it on console.

It's a stream, not a port. There's a big difference there.

Still not worth the time in my opinion, I'd rather play it on my console than stream it from Sonys servers.

This. A stream is not a port. That aside, there's a lot of reasons why game streaming is dumb; poor visuals and laggy controls are the prominent reasons.

Well my PS3 refused to power on over a year ago so I got rid of it. I missed out on pretty much every PS2 exclusive and many PS3 games, so rather than buying another ps3 and each game individually, I'm fine making a couple of compromises (my experience so far has been pretty good) in order to gain access to a few hundred or so games. If I don't expect to be using PS Now I can always cancel or put my subscription on hold and renew it later without losing save data and whatnot.

I really just plan to use it to play single player console exclusives(especially ones with little replayability) that I never played last gen such as the Uncharted Series as well as ones that may have the entire franchise on console while only certain titles made it to PC like Resident Evil: Code Veronica, Silent Hill HD Collection, or The Darkness and so on.

My only other reasonable option would be buying another PS3 and subscribing to a service like Game Fly but I don't want to be limited to access to one or two game until I mail them back and get new ones mailed to me
