Waffles are so much freaking better than pancakes and it’s not even close. Pancakes are flat little bastards who can’t even hold syrup. Waffles have built in pockets to hold the good uh uh. And have you heard of toaster pancakes? No, because they don’t want to be convenient for you. Waffles know you’re busy, and they’re like hey bud, eat me after a minute in the toaster I got you.

And does anyone really enjoy going to ihop? I don’t, it’s overpriced and my experience is never consistent. Waffle House on the other hand is cheap, 24 hours, and no matter if I’m in the rich suburbs, the ghetto, or in a beach town, it has the same consistency everywhere. Honestly I can only think of one place where pancakes are good, and that’s McDonald’s. And they’re not even called pancakes, they’re called hot cakes, cause they don’t wanna be associated with trash pancakes.

And my final point, other forms of waffles are dope, waffle cones are first to come to mind. They don’t have pancake cones because pancakes are floppy and sloppy just like your ex. Waffles even inspired one of the other good foods of America, French fries, into evolving into a superior potato food- waffle fries.

Oh and I know I said that was my final point, but I thought of one more. I can’t think of an insult involving waffles except for the corny dad joke of Waffle House being called “awful waffle,” but no one ever means it. But if you want to be a misogynistic douche bag to a girl you can call her a pancake. Bruh, not cool. If someone called me a waffle, I’d be dope with that, and wonder what are they smoking, but if someone calls someone a pancake or a pancake ass or chest, it’s not cool. Waffles will never hurt you.

The ones I had in Belgium were pretty darn good. Crunchy, chocolate layer on it and some powdered sugar with some beer. But I still like pancakes equally.
