Are Dreams the Opposite of Reality?
I've heard that when you dream, it's basically the opposite of reality.

Do you believe so or in another aspect about dreams? Or do you not believe that there's meaning behind dreams itself?
Dreams are complex to explain and learn about so I want to hear your thoughts.

My dreams usually have me travelling the galaxy saving everyone or just killing everyone to solve a problem.
....
My dreams predict my reality sometimes.

The majority of the time though, they are random nonsense.
if you have good dreams then you are a good person
if you have bad dreams then you are a bad person
not really.

if reality is real, then what is not real: imagination, dreams, aspirations, plans, nightmare, future.
I wouldn't say they're the opposite of reality. In my opinion, they are often a reflection of what you're thinking about. I have dreams where I'm playing video games, when I've played them a lot. When I moved from my old apartment, I would have these dreams where I thought I left something behind, had to go back, or moved back into the old place.
you want to hear the thoughts from steam users in off-topic about the complex topic that is the physiological explanation of dreams?

To me, dreams are the byproduct of the brain comparing the previous day's information to it's warehouses of dusty memories.

So basically, no. Not really.
no, but they are part of reality. there's meaning behind everything around us, even if we do not know or do not bother to know. i think, dreams are there to remind us of that.
