Deezer at home using google speaker, phone or my PC. I also use Youtube and Bilibili if I am at my PC. I have music downloaded to my phone to play in the car.
I'm presently listening to The Ventures on 8track.

windows media player is dead on my windows 10 pro license's across 3 computer systems with clean installs.

it starts, but then it freezes, takes 30 seconds to respond to every input, and eventually crashes and throws me a library compiling error.

this is across 3 computers so i don't know if you've opened wmp lately? can anyone else confirm for me windows media player is actually working on windows 10?

I'm going to tomshardware to get the answer, i know its dead. :steamsad:

Yeah i use windows media player everyday on two of my windows 10 home PC's, it's quieter to listen to my music on my computer than using my stereo otherwise I'd wake my dad up, When he gets out of bed i turn on my stereo.

I don't have the latest 21H2 windows 10 version installed on my PC though, I held back from installing it.

Try poweramp on the google play store. Fantastic music player. It's the only app i ever paid for.

Just switched to paid Spotify after 6 years of paid Pandora. Pandora was becoming stale and predictable. Now trying to learn the confusing Spotify mobile interface. I want to Download music too, but it's not easy to do that quickly and easily while driving -- it seems like they intentionally hide that down-arrow download button a couple of screens deep, just so it isn't too easy to do.

I liked the Pandora homescreen widget on Android better than the Spotify one, too. The whole UI on Pandora was better, in a lot of ways, but I probably just need to acclimate myself to a new UI before I judge.

I definitely like the Spotify playlists, whole albums, and new music recommendations it gives me, better than Pandora. Pandora's algorithm started giving me a lot of thumbs-up songs on playlists that they didn't belong on. Yeah, I like that Etta James song, or that Chris Stapleton song -- but I don't need to hear it on my Reggae playlist, but Pandora thinks I want to hear it every day, on literally every one of my 100 or so stations -- just as an example. I don't want to hear the same song every day. I want to hear songs I've never heard before, too. If both of those statements weren't true, I'd just listen to FM 104.5 Nobody Plays More 80s Radio all day.

So, goodbye, Pandora. And good luck. :amadeus_happy:
