Are gaming chairs comfy?

Hi.

I was browsing and looking for car accessories on Amazon, until Amazon tried to recommend me a super pink Hello Kitty gaming chair [www.amazon.de].

Now, I actually never sat on a gaming chair of any kind, but the cushions look like a very cool addition. I don't know anyone who has this type of chair, so I would love to hear some personal thoughts and experiences and how they compare to office chairs!

I just have a normal office chair, very comfortable, I don't see why people want "gaming chairs"

They are not as comfortable or orthopedically correct as regular office chairs. It's just a marketing ploy. Get a good office chair.

Yeah, I kinda have the same idea as well. Office chairs are already pretty ergonomic IMO.

nope, if you want comfort get a executive office chair with proper lumbar support.

gaming chairs are overpriced and tacky, sure they can be comfy but you can get something far more comfy for cheaper by not going for the "gaming" aspect which does nothing but up the price of an average chair.

gaming chair is pretty much a marketing gimmick thing. it is more comfy sitting in a cheap plastic chair then half of the gaming chairs being advertised or sold, and this is coming from someone who knows huge amount of people who spend their money on gaming chairs and most of them is so uncomfortably. yes there are gaming chairs which is comfy but the problem comes down to is pretty much the price which is ridiculous for a chair.

gaming chair's purpose is to market it as a gaming chair. get an ergonomic or office chair. because it was build primarily for sitting. also. gaming chair looks like racing chair tho
