It sounds like the old post war mind control trick lol. Why is it the fault of any other political system? Capitalism is NOT a political system, what we in the west may fail to recognise is that it is heavily totalitarian, no matter the system of government it operates within.
In terms of economics, capitalism incorporates elements of all political systems, regardless of any particular one. Economists advocate for self-sufficiency and individual profit, but on the other hand, promote government subsidies of corporations. Who is dictating to who, would be the pertinent question?
I'm going to be one of the noble, respectable commoners who does the very honorable thing of taking all the stuff from billionaires, and I'll take one for the team and own a lot of stuff and be miserable. It's okay.

"If you are a seller and receive funds for transactions that violate the Acceptable Use Policy, then in addition to being subject to the above actions you will be liable to PayPal for the amount of PayPal’s damages caused by your violation of the Acceptable Use Policy. You acknowledge and agree that $2,500.00 U.S. dollars per violation of the Acceptable Use Policy is presently a reasonable minimum estimate of PayPal’s actual damages - including, but not limited to, internal administrative costs incurred by PayPal to monitor and track violations, damage to PayPal’s brand and reputation, and penalties imposed upon PayPal by its business partners resulting from a user’s violation - considering all currently existing circumstances, including the relationship of the sum to the range of harm to PayPal that reasonably could be anticipated because, due to the nature of the violations of the Acceptable Use Policy, actual damages would be impractical or extremely difficult to calculate. PayPal may deduct such damages directly from any existing balance in any PayPal account you control."
Restricted Activities include:
- Provide false, inaccurate or misleading information;
(etc)
Actions We May Take if You Engage in Any Restricted Activities:
- Holding the balance in your Balance Account, the balance in your business account, or any money waiting to be claimed through your personal account if you do not have a Balance Account linked to your personal account, for up to 180 days if reasonably needed to protect against the risk of liability or if you have violated our Acceptable Use Policy. The hold may remain in place longer than 180 days according to Court Orders, Regulatory Requirements, or Other Legal Processes;
(etc)
It's still there, but clearly rewritten to be clarified upon it's meaning. If you wish to use paypal for funding donations for false and misleading information, etc... that's your fault for being a scammer.
Previously it said the same, but in different wording which drama queens cry about not being able to abuse anymore. "$2,500.00 U.S. dollars per violation of misinformation" rather than "false and misleading information".
It's amusing how many misinformation spreaders freaked out about it. Like as if they knew it was misleading what they posted and afraid of a $2500 fine for each.
In reality, a scammer abusing Paypal with a scam might have their funds held during review and investigation, which might lead to returning those funds back to the victim rather than being placed in the hands of that scammer, etc. It's stops them from grabbing money out of a throw away account, then just recreate a new one each time they get it suspended.
Well like I said I was guessing. I don't know much about your country. Didn't mean to offend.
Well whatever. I mean that's your view and your terminology. Not saying that with any disrespect. I just don't agree.
I've covered this before ad nauseum and really don't want to get into details about it again, but for future reference, Communism and Command Economy go together. Capitalism and a Free Society go together. So they *are* political, because they are linked to the hip with a political system.
For example, you can't have a Communism and have a Free Market, it doesn't work that way because the Communist State will want to arrest everyone and anyone who buys certain goods.
On the other hand, you can't have a Free Society and a Command Economy because in Capitalism Supply and Demand (in other words what people want to spend their money on) can't be guessed at for the government to tell factories what to produce. This is why you had an overstock of things like tuna and refrigerators in Soviet Russia while at the same time having a severe shortage of other things, like cars.
But all the others here will still go with the lies.
If what you are saying is true, then why does capitalism seem to work better for the CHINESSE? Hmm could it be that political systems are only forums to operate, but certainly no indicator as to which political system better suites capitalism or not?
We can respectfully disagree, as we obviously have very different understandings on how it should or shouldn't function, but not so much as to how it actually is :)
because paypal's been behaving badly and we know what it already gets up to but who's telling it to act this way?
The Chinese have a hybrid system, but ultimately I think it functions because of American S&D. USA is their main trade partner, we buy all their junk crap. In return they take our debt and fiat. So basically they have a Command Economy inside China but they run off of American S&D. Without orders for new goods they don't know what to make, and I think this is why most economists call China a hybrid system.
But USA needs the Chinese system as well, because they can print Yuan on demand, which means they can buy up as much debt as the US creates. It's messed up and shouldn't work - and will ultimately fail disasterously.
