I wanna write...an album. Not a song. Got plenty of lyrics, but still working on fleshing it all out.
I'm just going to throw it on SoundCloud one day without announcing anything.
Imagine Pink Floyd albums where it flows so nicely and you can listen to them completely from front to back. .
That's what I am working on. Doing it without a record label takes forever, but I don't care.
Everyone hated the "mumble" rap that Chief Keef was doing back in 2013. Look at the way things are now.

Only 3 kinds of music have ever been awarded the Pulitzer Prize for music: classical, jazz and rap/hiphop. Kendrick Lamar won the Pulitzer Prize in 2018 for his album DAMN.

Ever hear of Chris Turner? Genius stand up comic who does a freestyle rap every time with just suggestions from the audience, and it's good.
Rap that has chemical compounds in lyrics, enzyme / catalyst chain reactions in lyrics, double or triple untendres, etc., that still tells a story, would blow anyone's mind if they could appreciate good lyrics.
Good lyrics separates good rap from all the rest. It's rare nowadays, so I want to help contribute
