He has said many things that I agree with as well as many things that I disagree with.
I like how people, especially on the right, are such fans of his arguments against "compelled speech" but as soon as some game developer wants to self-censor something from their games or just not include something that is in high-demand among the right, then this is considered a "woke agenda" and those developers should include that in their game or not be bought from.
There's a variety of responses like that but at least some of them are making an argument for compelled speech, because I guess they only dislike it when it comes to things that they don't want to have to say themselves.
If people were truly against compelled speech, then they'd be against all forms of compelled speech, not just the ones that don't align with their values.
...Jordan never says "Just agree with me." never, not once.
He always puts his own thoughts out there, good - bad - neutral - people come to their own conclusions and that's the noblest thing one can do. "Just judge my ideas."
I respect the man and his teachings because they're worthy of respect, not because he says to.
if you think I don't think for myself, then that's okay. You're free to think whatever you want to, too.
Reading can be kind of hard, but just give it another try, will ya?
(psst, I'm agreeing with you.)
if we keep refusing to make changes in our understanding of things, if we keep sticking to traditions and refusing to let our cultures evolve, if we refuse to even question how things are organized, none of the broader issues that affect people will be solved
but many of them can be remedied with a change of attitude
~ Piers Morgan
Great. That's all I need to know about your level of maturity.
