Tower of God?
chinese have manga too

though the manga and anime are 100% completely different than japanese b/c cultural and regional differences
I mean given Manga are basically japanese comics, I'd say yes, but in the US we call them Marvel and DC, which is strange as when you think of super heroes you modernly hear people say "marvel" or "DC" but not 'comics'

That's because Manga / Anime ~IS~ 100% Japanese, anything else is just mistakenly called it.

Haven't seen UWU King CatGirl here in a while!

But like what White Knight said, Anime is by definition FROM Japan. I'm not sure about Manga, but it's probably the same. So if a Japanese style comic, or animation is created, and it's not created by someone who is Japanese, it technically isn't Manga, or Anime. Which makes it odd that people call the Castlevania show an "Anime" because it isn't an Anime. Not technically anyway.

that's so sad , so if someone want make or draw manga , they must know japonese and work for thier company
In China, there are also many manga/anime in a style similar to that of Japan, which are popular in China but not particularly well known elsewhere in the world
Probably but since manga I think is exclusively a Japanese thing, I tend to think even if manga outside of Japan exists it probably is either considered a ''spin-off'' or non-manga entirely which would mean that it bares an another name.

Like even with my favorite manga's I think, like Ghost in the Shell there always was a Japanese person involved, in a high capacity behind the screen.

I would assume manga is not only exclusively cartoons like from magazines.

In which sense I also like movies based off that like the Matrix or Avalon from 2001, I believe.

Which accidentally has also the same, Japanese person involved who created Ghost in the Shell I believe, so I really like Avalon.

Truth is there isn't many of those or such ones around, movies like Avalon. There is the aforementioned Matrix or maybe even something like Dark City but beyond those I really can not recollect any more than those.

I do not watch too much manga thought all I've ever seen in all honesty in that regard are: Ghost in the Shell and Akira, which I really, really adored.

Those 2 manga's border on bearable for me because others I find I don't know for some reason uncanny seeing as people had actually suggested me other manga's than those 2 but still in the end. Those 2 are all I've seen and in a way can see. I found even Akira to be a bit too much for some reason, in the way that the characters were drawn where GitS seemed fine and very cool in essence but for one.

I do not want to come over as narrow minded or insulting that is truly not my intention, I just intended to express my experience, sort of love and (further) feelings and as for two.

Yeah well, pardon me: forget about the two. Now I am enveloped in memories of Ghost in the Shell.

Those characters are so nice as is the world and the stories of all those movies involved and their series as well.

I was so excited to find out that Netflix had more of them, I was beset myself.

In all honesty I would without a doubt use this as my avatar[static1.cbrimages.com] if I could, like if I had drawn it myself.

It is so cool.

Some people didn't like Netflix vision compared to the original 2 movies but I have gotten used to things changing by now, and keeping up with the times as it were, so I did not mind Netflix interpretation or execution of GitS. I think it's quite charming as that image shows.

Something... ''magical'' about it.
