Buttercream frosting is the easiest thing in the world to make. Literally just butter and powdered sugar. Two sucks will cost an average 8" round two layer cake. Just put it in a dadgum bowl and mix with a mixer at whatever the hell speed you feel like until it looks like something you spread on a cake. Add in the sugar like a cup at a time to thicken/dry it up. If you want people to think you're a hocus pocus Kung Fu pirate king at baking for literally zero more effort, just throw literally anything in a food processor and mix it in while you mix it. Cocoa. Coconut flakes. Raspberries. Freaking limes if you wanna try it. Doesn't matter. It's the easiest damn thing in the damn world.
