It definitely is more powerful, especially considering consoles use tablet CPUs.
You will be able to play 4k with checkerboarding like you do on console + have all the advantages that a PC gives to you.

both PS4 and Xbox one use modified Amd Jaguar CPUs, wich are also used in tablets and similiar stuff.
