the idea of a famous person contacting someone directly always is something everyone (who is a fan) would dream of ) i honestly would love if zfg contacted me directly to ask for advice on how to speedrun banjo tooie or rayman 3 ( dont run them anymore since i dont have an xbox anymore but i used to run them ) it would be great if a big streamer would at the start of the stream tell everyone that i practised with him or taught him a few tricks ( or even better, give me some vip status in chat )

i know it wont ever happen but its just natural to look up to some people and them contacting you would be a dream for alot people ( same for movie stars ) thats why its used as a scam , someone who thinks they just won the big lottery and will now become best friends with a star often will fall for this and get their system infected and maybe data stolen ( or other things ( nigerian prince ))

no matter how clever someone is , if something tricks us just for a second and we click a link without thinking about it the damage can already be done

Idk why she is popular in the first place. Shes bad at videogames, does nothing useful except looking halfway decent and has not only shady friends but also a pretty bad character. Why would anyone watch her?

Pretty much Youtube throw her on everyones front page or related videos (even when not related) so most people will mindlessly click subscribe. Pretty much how all the big channels became big, while all the little channels remain little. Chosen few channels get special treatment and I can't support a system like that hence why I boycott Youtube.

Note: I haven't really done research obviously lol but from what I've seen, she seems kind of friendly. I don't subscribe to her or anything though so I'm just going off the few times I've seen her or heard of her.
