Why do people willingly go vegan?

ye exactly reasons like this, who the hell wants bleeding meat? thats extremely disgusting and looks unhealthy.. Im glad that the "raw meat" culture isnt a big thing in my country and is only popular in murica and asia

It's not just about pets but about species too.
The same people who taunt vegans/vegetarians by saying they 'love juicy steaks' also often think people are disgusting for eating cats and dogs.
You'll find that most humans are too arrogant or too dense to admit the hypocrisy there.
Think of a hamburger when you see a cow and that's okay but you visualize a dog on a plate and you're suddenly the Devil himself. Hahaha, humans are silly that way aren't they?

The conflict between vegans/vegetarians and meat-eaters goes both ways.
I don't recommend immediately going vegan whenever you have the choice. At least be vegetarian first and maybe try faux meat. But don't let yourself be pressured into going vegan either.

According to that "logic", eating humans is fine as long as the person also eats cow, chicken etc.

Most people recognize that hurting those closest to you, is a greater offense than hurting those who are unfortunately more distant. There is a hierarchy.

Otoh, I guess it's true that chinese people also have a hierarchy of what's important to them, sort of, but they are the only thing on the list, they are #1 and there is no #2.

Actually, it takes strength to become vegan. Humans are a funny thing, and for thousands of years has tried to elevate themselves from the animal kingdom, which also took strength. It's why you have a computer, a language and everything else that separates you from the ants that you seem to enjoy comparing yourself to.

All I see is the amount of energy put into convincing peoples to join, what's rarely in people's interrests. If veganism was so good, peoples should have joined naturally without any pressure needed. The simple fact that they qualify others as "meat-eaters" / "murderers" and so on show that they're alone trying to create an antagonist. But nobody spontaneously call himself a "meat-eater", is a non-existant group of peoples.

Again, all I see here is spoiled childs who want to force others to follow their stupid morals, like little priests who preach what's good or not. Manipulated by companies that try to enter the meat market with artificial meat products nobody asked for in the first place.

Down in the evolutionary chain, degeneration can randomly come up. Especially in species that have existed over pretty long time periods. Changes in natural habitat, quality of life, availability of resources, to downright defying their own physiology and biology, are all signs of something getting a bit off.

We should love and support *others* becoming vegans. The more they do, the better it is for the remaining everybody. Collective self preservation instinct of a species is crucial, annihilation of weak parts that can jeopardize the entire corpus and its future survival is a must.

Remember to also fully support; Abortions, same sex relations, freely changing sex, asexuals, aggressive feminists, green-eco activists etc.

I eat animals to save them, after all if people stopped eating them, there is no reason to keep them around. Perhaps vegans are afraid asparagus will go extinct if they didn't eat them.

Why do people willingly go to work for minimal pay?
Why do people willingly wear cloths?
Why do people willingly eat at a fastfood joint?


You could pretty much ask this about anything, I reckon that a logical take on it could be, that they do so unwillingly, because they have been exposed to bias from their enviroment.
