I think my dad is crazy?
So, during the last few weeks, my dad has been acting up really weirdly. He started saying strange things and doing awkward things.

For example.. the other day, he was watching Piers Morgan on TV, and he suddently sat right in front of the TV, and tried to talk to Piers Morgan as he told him "snooping as usual I see".

Yesterday, he was cooking dinner, he threw an onion accross the kitchen and yelled "Why is my precious rocket ship drifting off into deep space?!?! Why?!? Why?!?!".

Three weeks ago, I found him running all around the house, telling himself he'll have to give himself a promotion.

He hasn't been acting up like that before. I'm aware he's old (about 80 years old), but I know my dad, he isn't dumb like this. Does anyone know from what I've explained, if he might be affected with some sort of disorder? Thanks.

He is getting old

I don't believe him being old is the reason why he's acting up..
has he had any potions? give him some milk so that any potion will clear it's effect
Have you sent him over to a quack to get him evaluated? He could be suffering some mental health issues in his old age. I know a couple of crazies in my area who all act the exact same way. Most of them deal with schizophrenia or bipolar. Maybe that could have something to do with it?

he is not crazy, he has dementia.
bring your father to a neurologist.

No no, he doesn't date witches who do potions, but I'll try milk.

He doesn't, I know, a month ago he was perfectly normal.

For someone in their 80's a month is long enough to develop these things. We aren't meant to live that long.

Are you sure? I know people in their 80s like Ron Paul, who aren't crazy at all. I know for a fact my dad isn't crazy, he has to have a disease or something

A disease? Bruh.
It's most likely just coming down from a mental issue or some sort.

It is mental health related, trust me. The older you get, the harder it gets to keep your sanity. Just the nature of all things.
if it's a sudden change get it checked
i don't mean to be rude but i see this as a typical millennial joke. which doesn't even try to be funny. if he's 80 then you're like 50 or more... yet you talk like a millennial dewd.. just stop.. :-/
