You just about.. haha. Politic suck but feel bad to people who actually try to help their country while other politician try to take advantage over them for their own benefit. Never be fanatic, know politic but stop there. Always read both side so you can come up with real fact and actual opinion about any situation. Some may stay mysterious.

I can have a good political discussion with pretty much anyone without it turning into some sort of giant screaming match. I try to be open minded, reasonable, and I make it a point to always acknowledge a valid point that the other person is making. I also keep personal feelings out of it.

I dont know why but for some reason it is usually liberals that cannot keep a debate friendly. They almost always get angry, and they almost always speak down to whoever they are debating.

I have learned that discussing any charged topic online is generally 100% pointless. People stand on their soapboxes and scream into the void, with no intention of listening to the person on the next soap box over.

I'm comfortable with my beliefs and I don't feel the need to attempt to convince anyone otherwise. As long as it does no harm I do not begrudge anything to anyone if it makes them happy. Like that Sheryl Crow song.

Dont get me wrong. I've ran into more then one nasty conservative when debating them about religious freedom or the 2nd amendment.

All I'm saying is that in my experience liberals are far more likely to get down right nasty and start throwing insults when you challenge something they believe to be an absolute like climate change, transgenderism, or abortion.

I guess I'm just weird, because I really do enjoy my opinions being challenged. The more I think I'm right on an issue the more I like people to challenge me on it. I believe it helps me arrive at a well informed and logical point of view.

I dont like being insulted or talked down to like some people have a tendency to do.. cough cough.. plad.. cough cough. But I do like being challenged to think and defend my point of view
