Is walking with a plague doctor costume legal?

Just read a greentext where the OP is going to McDonalds with a plague doctor costume. i feel like it might not be not legal because the mask obscures your face and stuff.

Granted laws are different in each state but nowadays people wearing a mask don't mean they are not going to do anything the people working there don't know what your intentions are. That's completely different from walking into a McDonalds with a cosplay costume. Legally it isn't probably, but it's not like people will think everyone who doesn't show their face to the world is gonna rob a burger chain unless if the area has a high crime rate or if the "news" is fearmongering the crowd again.

I wouldn't walk into a bank like that but I'd definitely walk into a common place in a harmless costume. But if you want to dare me to do that as well, you'll be the one buying. ;)

The rest of the costume is fine but i know for 100% fact they will ask you to remove your mask. It is mcdonalds chain wide policy.
