What do you do with your old graphics cards after a upgrade?

I have a old GTX 970 FE AND A GTX 1660 ti FE. Do people just give/throw them away or just keep them in a closet forever? Is a 1660TI worth selling?

Sell it, you can get decent money selling GPU's and RAM you don't need anymore.

I think the 970 isn't worth anything but is the 1660ti worth selling? And how'd you sell yours?

Back then I’d donate it to a friend. These days though, I hold onto them in case I need a backup. I know the chances of me frying my card is really low, but ♥♥♥♥ happens and it’s still not easy finding graphics cards where I live.

I'm sick of stashing old hardware, so now I just keep a PC's worth of spares and sell the rest or give it away.

I sold my old graphics card on a popular auction site for £900 in November 2021. I think it is good sense to sell unwanted items.

As of now, I've mostly given them to family and friends, if they're keen to take them. I imagine in the future if no one wants my old graphics cards, and I can't sell them, I'll just send them to the e-waste bin.

I just give them away to my local Best Buys location. They claim to recycle it.

various - i have a couple of old broken 10-20yo pcs. i never got around fixing and any value the parts inside them had is now gone by age.

I sold or gifted most rigs away as I build a new one.. as I have no habit of just replacing parts.

and I do have kept some/am rebuilding some for retrogaming.

as for an 1660 or 970.. both can still be sold easely for 50 euro each..
if you lucky you can get 80 for the 970 and 100 for the 1660
upto you if thats enough to hassle with selling them.
