Biggest Oz steak ever eaten

Today i went with my brother to steakhouse to celebrate our birthdays (same day but different year).

I got a 12 oz sirloin and he got a 40 oz steak AND FINISHED THE ENTIRE THING!!!!

Usually i get a 16 oz but i had eaten prior b/c work.



to put into perspective a 6oz is the size of your palm more or less but very thick upright. Like a flaming loin round like

12 oz is that thick but a large stripe like

40 oz is the size of a T boned shape steak but keeps the thickness (not like the thin ones they sell at meat markets as thin as slice of bread). oz steaks are usually as thick as a loaf of a single serving of bread (not modern grocery store ones im talking the ones with the ends that shrink into a half circle not a square cubed ones).

I ate a 24oz steak at a pub near me. I've never been to a place that's served anything bigger.

Yes there are 16 Oz to a pound.

Biggest I ate was 32 Oz.
