is there a way to filter channels on youtube?

so much russian propaganda... for example there is a channel MVD\FSB, i would like it(and it's videos) to be hidden from search results and recommendations.

You should be able to see 3 dots next to the videos and you can tap on "Don't recommend channel"

The channel will reappear if you open their video.

It's called blocktube, and for me its equally as important for me to use as uBlock Origin.

You can right click on a video and block the video, but more importantly you can block entire channels from the right click menu.

Really?? It's working for me 100% of the time.

Are you using Chrome or Firefox? Are you sure you're using the latest version?

I just tested mine. I've blocked Fox News, Sky News, CNN and these channels or their videos or recommendations don't show up in search.

I also opened Edge (doesn't have Blocktube) and found a Fox YT video, copied the link and confirmed it's completely blocked in Chrome for me.

Might be worth checking your extensions and maybe disabling some for testing if you have a few.

The best way to filter YouTube videos is to stop using YouTube.

THis is why I only view a very small selection of Youtube videos.
And well, only the funny ones, or the Let's plays.

No propaganda there.
Unless they're playing a game that features Propaganda.

I don't have this problem. Youtube recommends videos based on the category of what you watch, which is based on your account search history, and what you click.
