Why there are no more games like vSide?
In the mid-2000s there was cool application named vSide. It was virtual city with night clubs and music events. You even could have your own house, decorate it or buy clothes in shops. It was lovely place to hang out with friends in virtual world. Your avatar had different dancing moves so it was really fun software.

Now, with the growing development of VR games I'm really surprised there is no similar projects or games. Or maybe they are but I dont know about them? If you know such games - please wright down here (don't mention VR-chat. It's completely different).

Those types of games are the homeland of people looking for commiting crimes against humanity, so devs moved on.

Because the general view of those types of games could be sort of represented a by a few flawed large similar examples, like GTA Online, or in my friend's case San Andreas Multi Player, the big issue being that it all comes down to a microtransaction sink all of those virtual houses, cars and clothes cost real money so a social divide pressures people into spending and then things spiral out of control into addiction.

I lost a friend to SAMP because he went on super absorbed into that that pretty much everything else became irrelevant, sure I should take into account the the reason that happened most likely was in part depression due to him losing his mom to cancer, but that doesn't justify drinking or gambling, so why should it justify this too?

If you still have a choice to pay or not to pay - why not?
