^ This.

Smurfing in ranked matches is a form of cheating and you will hopefully get your account terminated for it.

Mostly everyone have more than one account in LoL. rito doesn't have any rules about smurfing and why would that called cheating? Recently League doesn't allow you to play with higher/lower tier rank anymore, so creating a new account to play with friends isn't "cheating".
oh wait you play dota

Yeah, in Dota I will personally make it the worst match possible for any smurf account detected in a rank match (wheither they are on my team or not). It's merely karma thrown back in their face. However, in Dota it's a 6 month banning for smurfs. Lots of fun to mock their stupidity, specially if they are a pro player with a few thousand fanbase, doing a live stream or Youtube video. I've gone and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ so many up.

Smurfing to me: Is a person saying that they don't have enough skill at their current level to improve, but still need to feel good about themselves and become lazy in their skills... while lying to themselves, making an uneven match and wasting 9 other people's time... since no one can leave that match. If you are a professional gamer, that makes it even worst in my eyes.

There is no such thing as a 6 month ban for "smurfing." There is a 6 month ban for behavior, which means you have to get a mega-buttload of Low Priority to work your way up to a 6 month matchmaking ban. There is absolutely no rules about alt accounts not being allowed in Dota 2.

It's for "Boosting services" and "Account sales" mostly, a mere google search will find you about 200+ of them. There's a ton of websites offer that these days, completely destroyed the game and made the community toxic as a result. So forgive me for being toxic back towards it.

Well, if you can take the risk of getting banned (Account have cheated and untrusted)

No, it's an up to 6 month ban for behavior. Account boosting or matchmaking abuse via botting nets you a 1-8 year ban.

Two different things.
