Personally, I hope the car from the trailer is one, it's so sleek, and sexy......
Cyberpunk 2077
THIS GAME
Why not? It's a CDPR game, and if anything, CDPR has shown that they actually care about their customers, and strive to provide best-in class games. I mean, this is the same company that made Witcher 3 for crying out loud. The same company that gave everyone FREE DLC THAT ANY OTHER COMPANY WOULD CHARGE YOU FOR, in that game.
Considering that, I'm not really worried I'd get burned by preordering from them, they have my trust in that regard.
I don't recall getting Witcher 3 DLC for free, and while good, the game itself is not well optimized (nor the best thing ever).
And I don't trust them with stealth.
And well, preorders...
Witcher 3 had first gameplay reveal during E3 in 2013 and the final game was released in May 2015 (consider that dev team was working absolutely insane hours for MONTHS and many people just burned out and left the company because of this after Witcher 3 shipped).
Cyberpunk 2077 seems to be A LOT more ambitious than Witcher 3 in every way (and requiring ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ more dev hours because of this), CD PROJEKT RED opened new studio in march 2018 to help with production (and they are still hiring) but if they want to deliver most things that were presented in that behind-the-closed-doors vertical slice/demo then there are simply no shortcuts for it (additional studio and throwing more money may not save them from delays and because of this there is no confirmed release date yet).
If the game was as close to release as one year then that demo would be already shown to the public (so many things must be still "in flux" and not set in stone), 1.5 year is optimistic, 2 years seem to be realistic when they have project on this scale.
CYBERDONGS, RISE UP!

I really wish that they cared as much about their workers so they wouldn't have to rebuild half of their team after every release.
