Beautiful Girl fiend request..is this happen to more here on Steam?

Ok maybe it's silly what i'm saying now but i never really trust Avatars that have beautiful girls as picture(After all girls on that internetz don't excist right it's myth )with maybe real name call themselfs with girls name and surname.

I get from time to time requests from girls and most time(yeh really i'm not joking) they want something. When i get a friend request i first go over to there page see who i'm dealing with if it's full private or most is private you won't get an accept from me. When right after i accept, you start asking for things i remove you simple as that.

This time around some girl with beautiful avatar face looks lika an model ask for friend request so i go over to her page seems ok but plays only games like CS or PUBG(already kind think huh thats strange is this really a girl comes in mind?) but ok accept. Then see name changed to with asking for skins like PUBG or CS already trust meter goes down hehe.

She start chatting(was not there just saw it) asking me to go to some vague site if i clcik some promocodes she gets 15$ for it and i get 20$ wtf.. are people(or horny nerd boys:P) really fall for this?

I removed her without any doubt.

This not the first time btw i remove people doing this begging.

Her profile when friend request was open but just find out when i removed her it was on full private now.

Con Artist? people like this on Steam are not very smart or are so many not that smart and falling for this?

I could say her name but i won't it's not my place plus she failed misrable anyway, also i don't give ♥♥♥♥ about having 10 friends or 1000 friends even if i have 2 left and 1 starting begging i remove you, ♥♥♥♥ off i don't need beggars:P

I normally don't go by people avatars, or their names, mainly because how common people use female avatars, and sometimes names doesn't fit the bill. So never bother thinking of the person gender, and wait until you get into voice chat with them, or ask them straight up after being friends with the individual after sometime has pass.

For 20 years I have been using the internet, I can easily tell you there are more than enough people willing to seek out to scam people by emails, messengers, social media sites, etc... So always be skeptical when someone contact you out of the blue, with no relation to anything for why they wanted to contact you.

I have contacts with scammers, and gold farmers over MSN Messenger when it was a thing, as to help indulge of having a better understanding of them. I learn quite a bit from a few people, some do it to support themselves, some do it because of limited options, or etc... Before I go on, no I didn't pay any of them, asking them question, and not being rude, or trying to criticize them is basically key to speaking them, unless they come aggressive with you then I simply ignore, and Block. Also yes with gold farmers they were willing to give me higher discounts, if you get strong connection of neutral friendship.

The contacts I had with were scammers for email/phone services, for games, such as perfect world, wow, etc... They vary where they're from for reasons why they do it, or wanting to do it, or because of limited jobs opportunities. The gold farmers almost same reasons, but in China, they have prisoners that play games to make in-game funds to trade with people in-game for the set amount by the people who runs the gold farming websites. Some gold farmers do it to get extra little money, some do it because they enjoy playing the game the way they want, and so on. Understanding the individuals is something more interesting, as you get to see one point of view from them, there one gold farmers I had good connection with, which we had fun a lot, and both learn many things about each other countries, as well how the system's works in comparison.

I don't trust "female selfie" avatars in general. A lot of players who use "female selfie" avatars just use images of porn stars or Twitch streamers.

There was a guy in my old guild who had everyone convinced he was an actual girl. Obviously some of the other guys asked for a selfie. He got his sister to take a selfie with a timestamp written on a sheet of paper. But he wasn't careful enough with his lies, and eventually my guild leader found out who he really was based on his website whois.

tl;dr Majority of female selfie profiles are probably catfishes.

Yeh i do the same simply remove and ignore i'm never rude to anybody. I understand that many live in countries where living situations are very bad and poor but for me Steam is not the place to support them so i will not have people like that in my friendlist.

the ones I got were level 2 as max, sure with a good pic stolen from instagram, and the same question of every time, why a girl would add someone from the other place of the world that doesn´t even know? it´s just stoopid, and steam isn´t made for mate purposes, so double stoopidity, but well, somewhere it works unfortunately if it keeps happening.

We have a very limited brain yes but calling that stupid is also rather dumb.

When we are born did make our own brain? did we ask to be born in dumb enviroment or smart one do we have something to say about luck or bad luck and so many other things that influence our thinking or behavior, so firm NO.
