What are those long locks of hair in front of the ears called?

They're not bangs. Bangs are the short part above the eyes.

I see this type of hair in anime all the time but haven't really seen it IRL. I like long hair and in anime it's always an aggressive girl with this hairstyle

Oh well, I experienced pigtails in both club penguin ,irl and even pokemon (now that nowadays characters have high customization v:)

I even tried 3 pigtails but it was too much for my hair v:

2 was just perfect

A hime cut is just bangs in front and long hair in the back right? I suppose these could be part of the hime cut. Is there no special word for it?

I managed to make a club penguin account with 7 years old

And still using that username (except for the hearts and with the tyranitar number) to this day
