Worth buying a license for winrar?

You must. It's a badge of honor. It means you've been there and you've seen things... It means you're paying homage to those who have gone on before you. Buy the license, get your name officially recognized as an official supporter, join the subreddit of your brothers and become immortal, just like Winrar.

FYI for others - Winrar is free, provided the user agrees to the "trial period." And, the trial period is only enforced by the user's honor, alone. It's always been that way and Winrar's "honor system" is legendary.

Yeah i bought it and it was also on sale at least i had a pop up. Didn’t regret it im using it for many years now

I've always said if I win the lottery jackpot the first thing I'll buy is a WinRAR license. I know it's not expensive but it is a pointless and decadent purchase.

For the record, I use it as well as 7-Zip. But, I do like Winrar a whole bunch. I can't count how many times the "don't unpack executables" probably saved me when the internetz was new. :)

Winrar goes on sale?

I clicked on purchase within winrar itself and on the site i had a pop up message if i want it cheaper and i said yes. Finally i can call it my own lol
