I sacrifice my pride to summon the compulsive OT poster in attack position.
there are a few that can get very heated.
-the whole covid one
(not only between pro and contra vaccers..
but even in those same groups.. there is difference..
-> like I know people who took the vaccin.. but still oppose forced QR codes and oppose that people are banned from traveling/places for what should be a free chooice
-> and I myself do not think vaccination for it is wise in most cases (aka anybody below 55) and I do believe it a rushed medicine that likely will have a high chance for unknown side effects on the long run.. there are those who have far weirder idea's about it.. people I deem a bit to deep into the complottheories myself..
-leaving or staying in EU
-> the mayority seems to be fine with EU.. but amongst them.. there are ones that want federalised europe..and those who oppose that
-> and amongst the people against the Eu again their are hardliners and people more nuanced..
-the debate on transgenders can get quite heated
-> on the on end you have people who say your gender is what you feel you are, and want to give a female passport to a man in a dress even before sexchance operation.. and what the state pay for these sexchanges and have it made criminal to have any other opinion than that.
-> on the other end you have people like me, who see sexchange operations like mutulation, and that instead we should give therapy to allow people to accept the gender they were born with... you are XX you are female, XY you are male..
-and if you dive further into that rabbithole of wokeness it goes even worse...
and thats just for starters;)
-debates about should the west cease allowing mass immigration and start to create some sort of policy to improve native birthrates... can get heated and emotional very quickly too..
-and by far the worst groups to debate with are vegans and hyper-feminisms
(vegetarians are fine.. I even agree with them on a lot of points... but vegans they just see any killing of annimals like I see abortion.. (I view abortion cliniks like others would look at concentration camps in ww2).. such a huge gap in basic vieuw. will not be bridged..
-hyper feminists are bad for entire different reasons.. : the classic feminists only wanted chooice.. that psychologically most woman likely still would choose to stay at home with kids because of psychology would be fine with them.. but hyper feminists want to humuliate males.. and become the oppressors.. and they even oppress woman wo WANT to be at home.. as they don't see that as a valid chooice.. and again with such people... you cannot talk..
as for gay : that can be a hard debate too but less so than the above ones YET
I personally as a christian know there is a different between having a sexual desire and activing upon it (phillia or desire vs sexuality or actiing) -> even heterophillic people need to wait till marriage to be allowed to become heterosexual) And despite some churches alowing gay marriages I do believe thats not what God teaches. What the bible condems is Homosexuality or the deed.. in all it's forms.. and that implies for me... you cannot be a christian and act homosexual.. so if your homophilic christian.. you likely will have to stay single all your life (though wonders do happen)
-> as such i vieuw homophilia as a disorder.. as it prevents them from going to heaven AND having a partner in life.. they will have to pick one or the other.
**the fact that I vieuw it as such makes me hated in the eyes of the atheist mayority.
and praying that God cures a homophillic person (aka that that person for the first time finds a woman he actually falls in love with..) is sadly in our nation made a criminal offense so a dangerous thing to do..
-> but than there are also christians who believe that people with homophilia can just choose to not be it.. and they are mutch more harsh toward such people...

and than the difficult line.. do we have right to infridge.. many christians once the mayority like to enforce their vieuw upon society.. and likewise atheists do.. but it is not biblical.. in the bible it states.. : if a people is of the world.. I should not bother him/her with Gods laws for it is pointless wheither he/she follows them.. but if a person by their own testemony says they are christian.. than I am obligated to uphold them to all of it.

meaning that the christians who not like to tell their fellow christians what they should not do are wrong but so are the ones who try to tell the unbelievers what to do.
as a person however I deem it offensive to see two people of the same sexuality kissing.. or worse... I already deem there is to much nudety around us on billboards and advertisement as it is.. and would like some sort of dignecy laws to be reinstated.. if that also means that hetero who would kiss or hold hands in public would get fined.. that would be acceptable to me.. so things like a gay parade should get hosed down and everybody involved arrested.. too indecent.. but so should mardi grass or the likes...
and I probably want our nations laws that make it possible for a gay couple to marry and adopt kids rebuked...
-But what two man or two woman who live together in 1 house do.. if they are not christian.. is not a thing I believe I or the state should care about.. and those people should be able to live there unharrased
(don't ask, don't tell.. and if somehow you find out.. just look the other way and pretent you saw nothing)
