I met a gamer girl IRL

and she was weird and set off a bunch of red flags. I don't really care if a gamer is a chick or not but some people really obsess over that kind of stuff so... have you ever met a real life "gamer girl" and if so what was your reaction?

Just to clarify, I have always lived in the middle of no where, so meeting different people doesn't happen often.

The stereotype is true though, just a handful of female players are good, atleast in a competitive way. Alot stay casual, which is fine, but then you have something like this female individual.

To stay with the topic: I don't qualify as a "gamer girl", because i just despise the term, though i am playing videogames and yes, i have the experience with a "gamer girl", because i'm not straight anyway... Infact i have a relationship with one and works pretty well, because we don't share the same platform, which is the best thing. I am rather the real tryhard while she is casual, which i don't mind, atleast we share the same hobby, that is a big plus. She knows i would absolutely destroy her in competitive games, but we have alot of fun in certain coop games.
