There are people who use anime avatars, either just because, or due to them being obsessed with anime too much. And there are those who show female faces, because they are female. Although there may be catfishers, but I never experienced them myself.
I'm not talking about the people that make the "there are no women on the internet" jokes. I'm talking about the people who genuinely seem to believe that all real women would never use selfies.
Sure, you might run across the occasional catfish, but I'd venture to say that most are actually women. If you doubt it so much, you can ask her to speak, but remember that no one owes you any proof (unless maybe you're one of the people who seem to think it's a good idea to send these women games).
