Why do razer headphones sound better on phones?

Im talking spefically about the Razer man o' war tournament edition. I always feel when im on my phone that surround sound is so much better than the non existent surround sound on my pc... tf

I use Razor Kraken Pro v2 on phone, PS4 pro, Switch and PC. As far as audio quality I don't really hear it change honestly.

They make them in 2 versions, USB and Analog.

Initially I was going to get the USB but realised I couldnt use them with the Switch, and I wanted them for everything as to not disturb the wife.

The only thing with the Analog version is they don't light up, and they can't do the virtual surround sound without the software on PC.

But I love them, if you're considering a relatively cheap headphone set I'd go for them. Go for the oval ear pieces and theyll completely cover your ear. But be sure to get v2 not v1, as v2 has some important improvements (braided cable, in line volume controls and mic mute, etc)

Surround sound has more to do with the game you're playing. Some games have excellent sound seperation, some not so much.

You may think its your pc, but the game's sound designers probably didn't do a good job with whatever the particular game is you're playing.

You may think its your pc, but the game's sound designers probably didn't do a good job with whatever the particular game is you're playing.

Its not just games its whenever im on my pc, and my phone and PC have the same types of headphone jacks

I must got v1 as mine light up and mine got the mute on the mic it self. Mine also got the braided cable just no in line volume control as my keyboard got dedicated volume controls so not a big deal. They are also made of metal. I'm going to use my otg adapter and see if this will work. My otg adapter has regular female usb to female micro usb. i only paid 100 dollars for them so they are cheap.

Did you download the synapse program and set up the surround sound feature? Also the device has to support surround sound most phones don't so it won't use that feature of the earphones.

Done that multiple times... doesnt change anything at all lol
