My internet speed was 6mbps today...

I was so excited, I barely get over 1mbps most days,
I'm in Australia.
So with that out of the ways, what is everyone elses average internet speed? So I can feel even worse about my speed.

Honestly I'd rather have something like 70 Down but 70 Up as well.

More or less, I keep telling my parents "We've got ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Optic Fibre installed, we can just do that!" But in their eyes the cheapest unlimited plan is better

I just have your average subscription, and I get upward of 144 sometimes. If you have an outdated router, alot of times your ISP will give you a new model for free.

Doesn't work like that here, the best you can get is 70mbps download speed and 20 upload in the area, I think ISPs throttle speeds for fair use as there is only a few competitors compared to the USA which I imagine has a stupid amount of ISPs.
