Anyway, in this song there is a lyric that I just can't decipher the deep meaning of. So, I figured the intense intellectual prowess of the people in this forum could attempt to assist me in interpreting this lyric. Here it is.

Cough syrup. It has a fair amount of alcohol in it, and is somewhat addictive. A lot of rap lyrics don’t have as deep a meaning as you think.
