Rant on the Gaming Industry (Is it just me?)
I'm over video games at this point. What happened to releasing games that work, that doesn't have problems, or doesn't take 100 + GB to download. Every video game that has came out has either been a buggy mess or unfinished projects that they just try to update and fix after the game's been released. I've gotten to the point, and I think most of the Gaming Community has to, to where we don't even expect a full polished game anymore. Like we've been dealing with this so long that it's almost became accustomed to expect unfinished garbage. When Cyberpunk got release I've never seen so many people disheartened. Hell even with Battlefield 2042, I see multiple people not having fun on the game because it's not finished and it's a buggy mess.
Like I would rather wait 5-6 years for a game that's a masterpiece, that's worth my $60, then spend $60 on a game and it's buggy from the beginning and the developers just update it and try to patch things as the game goes on and on. I'm over it man. Vanguard is a perfect example of an unfinished game that no one wanted, the game got released, it's a buggy mess that people make fun of the graphics for, the realism (the developers said that they wanted this WWII game to be super realistic, but how realistic is a drum mag on a M1 Garand?) and the game is full of glitches and has a bad cheating problem and it's not even been out for 2 months.
I would really like to hear what other people say on this topic, I would like to think that I'm not the only one that feels this way about video games and the video game industry as of right now. Some good games are looking like they're coming out next year, really excited for Elden ring. I'm just hoping that video game companies can either get a grip or find out a way to stop releasing unfinished garbage. Have a great day! :csgoct::VBOY:
