Would you say it it is normal to put a dog collar on a horse or a horses hooves on a dog? Any trends found popular within the mass relativist contemporary of any such society doesn't therefore make it actually normal - it only goes as far as to what has been adapted in that societies social norm through their adaptation of beliefs.

Conformity to a narrative as opposed to what is generally accepted within human autonomy are two different things that defines human behaviour. One is an inherent expected human normalcy whereas the other is prescribed. Would you greet someone by punching them in the face? I don't think so because that like many examples is not normally acceptable behaviour.

Because they´re usually less interested in fashion, but more into practical uses or comfort - or scene wear to show that they´re part of it. Men buying clothes = 4.5 Minutes in the shop and two new pants, one shirt, something else which will all be worn till it falls apart. Women buying clothes = 2.5 hours in that shop - without buying anything because there wasn´t anything nice - so we´ll have to look at the next shop in which perhaps one piece gets bought - which will disappear in the wardrobe forever ... There are exceptions, but if it was about "normal". :o)

Normal, aside from being a meaningless term, doesn't enter into it. If you want to wear makeup and/or high heels then do it. You don't need to rationalize it and you sure as hell don't need anyone's approval.

And on a side note, I'm watching Priscilla Queen of the Desert, and I realized that transvestites, hands down and without question, are the best dressed people on the planet.
